Future Tech Explorer
Explore how things work.
The year of taking things apart. Children find out what is inside the machines they use, meet sensors and switches, and give their first instructions to a screen - one block at a time.
Course overview
Future Tech Explorer takes the curiosity built in level 1 and points it at how things work. Children open up simple devices, test what makes a bulb glow or a wheel turn, and meet their first sensors - light, sound and touch - as things to play with rather than topics to memorise.
Screen time arrives here, carefully: short block-coding activities where dragging three blocks makes something happen. The habit being built is simple - predict, try, look at what happened, and adjust.
Small hands… big ideas!
- Name the parts of a simple machine
- Understand switches, circuits and what makes things move
- Meet light, sound and touch sensors
- Make a screen do something with three or four blocks
- Record what happened and say why
Written for this standard, not shrunk down from an older class.
Trainers who teach children this age every day.
A completion certificate at the end of the level.
Each level leads into the next, year after year.
What your child learns
- 01Sensors & switches
What they notice, and what they do about it.
- 02Circuits that work
A bulb, a buzzer, a motor - and the loop that powers them.
- 03Block coding
Drag, drop, run - and see the result immediately.
- 04Test & observe
Try it, watch it, write down what changed.
- 05Model making
Small working models built by hand.
- 06Working in pairs
Two children, one build, both explaining it.
How the Esanskar 5C™ Method shows up at this level
"Why?" and "What if?" are welcome questions.
Ideas turn into models they can hold.
Sequence and order, taught with cards and actions.
Building, testing and trying again.
"I made this" — said out loud, every week.
